MCH comes from Australian freeze-dried whole bovine bone of naturally-raised animals. Australia MCH is free of toxic levels of contaminants,* such as herbicides, pesticides, lead and other heavy metals and steroid and antibiotic residues. Calcium citrate-malate, the other calcium, is a fully reacted composite chelate that has about six times the solubility of calcium citrate or calcium malate alone. It's also better absorbed than calcium carbonate, the most common form used in calcium supplements.
Both MCH and calcium citrate-malate are present in a 1:1 ratio.
Magnesium, Boron, and Vitamin D. The magnesium in PIONEER Calcium/ Magnesium Bone Protein & Trace Mineral Complex is specially blended from aspartic acid, lysine, fully-reacted citrate, and magnesium oxide to provide better absorption and utilization. Boron, a micronutrient, is also present to aid in the effcient use of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, and phosphorus.
